I was ojt, 2151, at turret shop, chu lai. was on LSA's to Quang Gnai a few times and remember the pre fire on the elevated road, DeSoto at Duc Pho. Then all moved north. Was at Carrol, Cam Lo, took hydraulic fluid to towed at some ville I later found out (5 yrs ago from History ch) was Khe San. was on Buffalo, July 2 1967,actually at ConThien for about two hours as part of resupply rough rider.
If I remember correctly the convoys lead tank and some of us went up the trace to see what all the shooting was about. returned with dead & wounded, and empty magazines.

Semper Fi Marines!

I was with A 1/4 in 68/69, more than once tanks from the 3rd Tank Battalion saved our butts, probably time to drop in and say Thanks! Also, I joined the Corps with a buddy that went to tanks. I don't know his unit so I'm just going to throw his name out there and hope that someone might have known him. He's gone now, but never forgotten.

Looking for unit assignment for:

Richard Wayne Rogers from Davis OKLA. We joined together Oct 20 1967. Any help would be most appreciated.

I served with A Co. 1st AT's from 1/68 to the disbanding of AT's in May of 1969 when I transfered to MABS-16, MAG-16. I remember most everything like it was yesterday.

I have only seen two of the Marines that I served with in Vietnam 1st At's since I rotated mid 1970.

Fred C. and Dave S. from Ontos "No Brains Just Balls" I believe it was A-22.

Does anyone know what ever happened to Lt. Johnson, S/Sgt Brooks, Jerry Colberson, Tom Nailor, Ronnie W. Stowell? So many names I remember but so hard to locate for various reasons.
